Biography
Anthony O Connor (BA, MSc, Lic.Ac, MRCHM) is an acupuncturist and herbalist based in Ireland. As one of the first students of University College Cork’s first Chinese Studies degree programme he spent a year studying in Shanghai University in 2008.
Upon graduating from UCC he returned to China to begin his Chinese medicine study in Zhejiang Chinese Medical University. Here he gained invaluable experiencing treating a wide variety of conditions in a hospital environment.
He has had the privilege of studying with great practitioners like Martin Fitzgerald, former director of the Acupuncture Council of Ireland, Fan Bianhua, doctor to Chinese Olympic athletes, and Feng Ninghan, one of the world's few masters of the Nine Palace technique.
He graduated with distinction from the University of Westminster’s MSc degree in Chinese Herbal medicine in 2019. Anthony is a member of the RCHM and a licensed practitioner with the Acupuncture Council of Ireland.
