Practitioner of Chinese Herbal Medicine and Acupuncture
Linda Upton

Linda moved to Gloucestershire and set up her first Acupuncture practice in 1980. She had trained at the International College of Oriental Medicine in East Grinstead for 3 years, graduating in 1977. She then traveled to China as a tourist, and later (in 1983) to work at a teaching hospital in Nanjing for 3 months. It was there that she developed an interest in Chinese herbs. In the late 80s she studied Chinese herbs with Ted Kaptchuk in London, then completed a 2 year course in herbs with Michael McIntyre and Giovanni Maciocia in 1993. She has practiced TCM acupuncture for 40 years, and Chinese herbs for 28 years.
