The RCHM's register of members offers the public access to the services of over 300 practitioners of Chinese Herbal Medicine based right across the UK. You can use it safe in the knowledge that the profiles your search generates belong to practitioners who:

• are fully qualified (a requirement of RCHM membership is that practitioners have a degree-level qualification in Chinese Herbal Medicine from an accredited institution, or an equivalent)
• abide by the RCHM's strict Code of Ethics
• keep their knowledge up to date via a programme of Continuing Professional Development
• are encouraged to source high-quality, safe ingredients via our Approved Suppliers Scheme
• have full professional insurance
• will not prescribe you medicine containing any ingredient sourced from an endangered animal or plant species

In the unlikely event of a problem occurring, the RCHM also has a formal complaints procedure.

Each of our members will offer a different blend of care based on their qualifications, experience and personal interests, and on the needs of each of their patients – so they may or may not suggest herbal medicine in treating your condition. Most RCHM members are also qualified acupuncturists (currently around 90 per cent of our membership), and many use other elements of Chinese Medicine (CM) in their practice, including massage therapy (Tui Na), lifestyle advice and dietary therapy, and movement therapies (Qi Gong and Tai Chi). Symbols on the register's individual profile pages make it easy to see which elements each of our individual practitioners are able to draw on in treating patients.
